Ken’s current role is the Director – Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) Procurement at the Department of Finance, where he has end-to-end program management responsibility for scoping, developing and establishing new WoAG arrangements.
In recent years, he has managed the projects to establish the travel management company, international and domestic airline and accommodation program management contracts for the Australian Government.
Ken is currently managing the WoAG vehicle rental and Enterprise Resource Planning procurement projects. These arrangements are accessed by more than 140 departments and agencies, and provide significant savings and efficiencies to the Australian Government.
Prior to joining the Department of Finance in 2011, he spent approximately 8 years consulting to various departments and agencies on a number of major capital acquisition and capability development projects.
Ken has a maritime engineering background, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science, a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management and Certified Practising Project Director (CPPD) status with the Australian Institute of Project Management.
