David joined Qantas in 2004 after senior positions with Air New Zealand, Ansett and Ernst Young. For the past two years he has run the airline’s sustainability and environmental strategy and programs. With degrees in Law and Accounting, and with experience across many facets of airline operation, he brings deep knowledge and practicality to the sustainability initiative of Australia’s major airline.
Ole Hammer Mortensen
A Senior Partner for sixteen years at AMM Consulting Denmark, Ole has also had long tenures in the TMC sector, having been a Managing Director at Flight Centre and a Vice President at TQ3 (now BCD). With data analysis as the base, he now divides his time between consulting to corporates, particularly around travel policy, and public advocacy for corporate sustainability. Ole is a frequent keynote speaker at global events.
Petrina Davidson
Procurement Manager, Corporate Services, Swinburne University of Technology
Petrina manages corporate services procurement and delivery across the university. She has implemented innovative programs, including travel sustainability projects and mandatory carbon offsetting. Petrina is a procurement professional experienced in a range of categories. She has Bachelor of Science and Master of Business degrees from Monash University; ideal backgrounds for the topic at hand.
Dr Thomas Schroder
Head of Climate Action, South Pole Group
Fluent in English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and German, Thomas and his team have provided comprehensive sustainability services to corporates in this region for the European-based South Pole Group. He has helped to empower many leading companies on their sustainability journeys. Prior to working with South Pole, Thomas worked for the large Swiss retailer Migros, where he founded m-way electric mobility stores and the peer-to-peer car sharing platform Sharoo. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
