Pip Harley is a Sustainability Engagement Manager at the City of Sydney currently responsible for delivering the City’s 5 year strategic plan for Making Sydney a Sustainable Destination. She is an experienced senior sustainability professional and Program Manager with a strong background in leadership, the fundamentals of program and project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. She has worked with both public and private sector organisations to embed sustainability into their core business operations.
As a property sustainability expert, Pip’s background is engaging with the many stakeholders in the property industry to improve the environmental performance of our built environment. She has experience in advocating for improved planning controls and government policy, implementing energy, water and waste efficiency programs and communicating the benefits and outcomes that can be achieved.
Originally from New Zealand, Pip has a Bachelor of Business in Tourism and International Business from Auckland University of Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Sustainability from Swinburne University and is currently completing her Masters in Sustainable Built Environment at UNSW.
